    What you are missing is the fact that no study indicates that excellent saturated fats, I.E from Coconut oil, lime oil, cocoa are the culprits behind the unenthusiastic effects of saturated stout. The fats used in those studies were refined and hydrogenated. There is excellent saturated stout and terrible saturated stout, just as there are excellent carbs and terrible carbs.
